Do You Lavu?

I wanted to let you guys know how we did last night using your system. We went live and everything went really, really well. It was so smooth. Thank you!

Our Point of sale (POS) system has worked wonders for us. We have one printer hooked up next to the register which provides customer's their receipts for what they have purchased, while we have another printer hooked up to the sandwich station, which provides our chefs simply with the items we require them to make. This system was easy to set-up, easy to run, and makes a world of difference for how we run our company. I can monitor sales from home, as well as monitor employee start and end times. (I know when 'Jimmy' shows up late, before anyone ever needs to call me to fill me in) I can also edit menu items and change our meat prices from the comfort of my own home. We have our Lavu system (an iPad) resting upon an antique cash register (see picture), which really brings our 'old world meets new world' theme to a full-circle. Customers are always intrigued by our old-school cash register, which then prompts us to whip out the iPad for them to see, which completely blows them away and we end up answering a lot of questions in regards to POS Lavu and people interested in using your services.

Coastal Cupcakes has two locations, each with their own receipt printer, airport express, MagTek iDynamo credit card reader and iPad running the POS Lavu app. It has been a great addition to our stores and a wise business decision. It saves us time, money and space. We love it, our employees love it and most importantly our customers love it!

We use an Airport extreme to have a public guest network for guest WiFi usage, and a hidden private network for 2 printers (receipt and kitchen) with 2 airport express connecting them to the network, and one terminal to handle all transactions. We make use of the POS Lavu GOLD package for the use of multiple ipods, and table management. POS Lavu has extremely alleviated the amount of work needed to man a restaurant in a busy area such as Miami Beach. Before POS Lavu the servers would spend like 10 minutes just writing the check, in sloppy handwriting; there sometimes was problems with communication with the system for orders and such but now it's all integrated. Credit cards, tips, splitting checks, and using multiple methods of payment for a check. The check is ready at the press of a button, and the servers are fitted with the logo-sporting iPod touch to take orders with accuracy, and speed.

chose Lavu iPad POS because it was intuitive and simple to use for the wait staff, kitchen staff and the management, because it used standard Apple equipment and because the overall system implementation cost was less than half of competitors we looked at in Japan.

The new iPad POS system takes up little counter space, provides detailed marketing information, makes reporting a simple process, and is easy for both staff and customers to understand

HOME CHEF STIR-FRIES is a small scale restaurant business, running only one iPad terminal, with 2 Airport Express(s) connecting 2 printers. One of the Airport Express(s) also connects a speaker that plays internet radio music by using iPad as a media player while running POS Lavu. I did bring iPad to each table and placed it right on table to order for my customers. This always drew customers' attention...
